Inspired by the true story of the playwright’s Japanese-North American family, The Kaslo Legacy is a raw exploration of the complexity of intergenerational trauma, examining the parts of ourselves that we cut out to survive. The play addresses the unconscious cultivation of toxic masculinity, along with the incredible effort and sacrifice it takes to reprogram.
